This project, located Africa, was signed, implemented and delivered in 2019. In 2020, technical experts were dispatched to site for guidance of installation, commissioning and production as per owner’s invitation in the pandemic of COVID-19. With the proper arrangement of project execution schedule by our team, the installation progress was carried out smoothly and installation and commissioning were completed as per schedule. The product quality is very good and the whole production process runs without any faults. The designed capacity can fully meet the requirements the actual needs and this project and its product are highly recognized by the owner.

Advantages of using shredded steel scraps for steel making:

1）increase the bulk density when feeding with other steel scraps in to furnace

2）less feedings for one heat;

3）less electrode damage

4）Shortened smelting period；

5）Extended life of furnace lining；

6）Reduction of air pollution;

7）Reduced power consumption per ton of molten steel.
