Profile for Combining Rolling Mill Production Line
The production line is located in Africa. The arrangement of rolling mill is semi continuous rolling with 11 rolling mills in total, including 1 roughing mill (φ 450 roughing rolling mill), 6 medium rolling mills (φ 380 × 6 2-hi rolling bearing mill), 4 finishing mills (φ 380 × 2 2-hi rolling bearing mill + φ 250 × 2 2-hi rolling bearing mill).
The billets meeting the temperature requirements ( ≥950 ℃) will be directly sent to the φ 450 roughing rolling mill for rolling 3-7 passes according to different products. Then the rolled pieces will be sent to the medium rolling mills group (including 6 stands of high-strength arch mill in horizontal arrangement) for continuous rolling after cutting heads and tails by 1# flying shear. Behind the medium rolling mills group, 2# flying shear is set to cut the heads, tails and accident shearing. the rolled pieces go into the finishing rolling mills group (including 2 stands of rolling bearing mills, 2-hi horizontal rolling mills). Finally, the rolled pieces shall be cut into required lengths by 3# flying shear which is set behind 11# rolling mill, the last one of rolling mills.
The rolled pieces after 3# flying shear will be cooled on the cooling bed and then will be cut into a fixed length by fixed length cold shear as finished products. The finished products will be inspected on the finished section steel inspection bench, and then the qualified products are sent to the baling roller for baling into bundles. Bundles of steel are labeled before entering the collecting platform, and then will be hoisted into the warehouse and delivered by cross crane. Some defective products can be repaired manually to meet the requirements of finished products, such as off-line straightening, grinding, etc.
